Land rent is the answer to terrorism

Today's top story is terrorism. The specific case of Bin Laden was discussed earlier: land rent removes the need for war, and so removes the main cause of anti-Americanism. In addition,

• Historically, most terrorists simply want their own government, and land rent already offers that. 
• Extremism is usually fuelled by economic injustice, and land rent fixes that as well. 
• Lone fanatics are in the same situation as criminals - they rely on secrecy - and land rent makes most crime impossible because when people choose their own government they cooperate with the authorities. 

Basically, land rent drains the swamp that breeds terrorism.
